BMedia & Communication
For Niti, it started in her final year of studying Nutrition and Media & Communication at university. She sat in on a seminar about Ayurvedic Nutrition, an hour that left a deep impression on her, and changed the course of her life. Ayurveda seemed like a vast new ocean to her, deep and brimming with life. On an intuition, after university, she took a year off and spent time at Vaidyagrama, a traditional Ayurvedic hospital in South India. There, under the tutelage of Dr. Ramdas, she gained first-hand knowledge and learned how to blend ancient Ayurveda with modern Nutrition Studies. That was the beginning, as if dipping just a single toe in the water. Niti had to know more.
After returning to Australia and finding difficulty securing a job in as a Nutritionist, Niti landed a job on the front of house team at Back2Health, and was in total bliss. Niti grabbed this opportunity to learn under Jo and also simultaneously study for an Advanced Diploma of Ayurveda. Now, as part of Back2Health’s Ayurvedic Team, along with Dr. Madhavi and Dr. Upulie, Niti spends many of her days using cooking classes and dynamic presentations to educate people about the benefits of Ayurveda, as well as the delivering many of our Ayurvedic treatments, including Siddha Paste and various Detox Programs.
Back2Health is honoured to have to have such an energetic and committed practitioner of Ayurveda, one who embodies our philosophy of integrating ancient wisdom with Western Medicine and methods. Niti’s passionate work ethic drives her to do whatever is necessary to take care of clients. Her hands-on presence makes everyone feel welcome and truly taken care of, as well as makes her a key team member at Back2Health.
